Japan is a country of magic and contrasts. From the ancient traditions well rooted in the fabric of society to the frenetic hustle and bustle of the big cities Japan is in opposition with its self which somehow creates a magic around the country. As an outsider you can only peak in to the culture, you can never fully understand which helps to bolster the magical qualities of the country.

With the contrast in thoughts there is also contrast in textures and visuals. There is immaculately made objects and the most useful yet basic looking items mixed everywhere. The textures and contrasts permeate the environment creating wonderful vignettes into the magic of the country almost everywhere you look.
