Its been a week, oh what a week. I have so many words, so many thoughts about it all. Specifically on what being an American meant to me before these results and now, having just returned from a month in Europe this was a topic already on my mind. But the words are muddled, the thoughts confused. Every time I try to lay out my thoughts it becomes a long meandering topic changing essay. These are important thoughts to me so for now I wait while they marinate a bit longer, so they will be everything I need them to be.

For now there is solace in the sea, my forever reset. As I write this on the eve of my Birthday I will focus on the good in this great world that we live in and find the ways I can help make the reality of this world more positive and inclusive for all.
